Subject: Beach Drive Spartina
Hi David [Tattersall],
Both the mudflat in the cove and pocket marsh on the north side of Beach Drive look very good this year but do have some small, scattered bits of hybrid Spartina to treat. The stuff is so low in the tidal regime that it is tough to get sufficient time before the next tidal inundation for the herbicide to be fully effective. Of course it is a tiny fraction of the problem we have had there in previous years, but not quite to zero.
I have a good tide on Monday Sept 7 around sunrise for this relatively small (but muddy) amount of work.
Let me know if that works for you folks.
Thanks,
Drew Kerr
