Our Purpose

The mission and purpose of the Bayside Acres Neighborhood Association (BANA) is to promote the welfare and interests of the owners and residents within the subdivision. BANA provides a common forum for discussing and resolving issues within the subdivision as well as a representing its members with external entities such as Marin County, the City of San Rafael and the Pt. San Pedro Road Coalition. BANA provides timely notification to its residents of events such as road work, construction and suspicious activities. It works with other groups in dealing with broader issues such as emergency preparedness for potential disasters, the development at the Loch Lomond Marina and the condition of the medians along Pt. San Pedro Road.

BANA is a voluntary organization and has a Board of Directors and Bylaws which both governs and limits the Board’s responsibilities. A member of BANA must own a parcel within the subdivision and be current on dues. Most of the work of BANA is done by volunteers while the dues cover incidental expenses such as meetings, bank fees, and this website. See the Bylaws for more details as well as the Minutes of BANA’s Board and Annual Meetings which are posted on this website.

BANA maintains a directory of addresses and emails of owners and residents within the subdivision. This information is kept private and only for use by the Association. If you feel the directory does not have your information, or has an error, please contact us. We can maintain multiple email addresses per physical residence. To add our correct your information in our database, please Contact the Webmaster. Include your physical address within the subdivision on the form as only owners and residents are included. Occasional emails are sent to our email list to inform residents of important matters or events.
