San Rafael Emergency Evacuation Manager Quinn Gardner will Answer Your Questions
Dear Neighbors,
- If there is a fast approaching wildfire will you have enough time to evacuate when you receive an Alert Marin text?
- What should you do when you hear Marin County’s new Hi-Lo siren?
- How will you know whether to Shelter-in-Place or get on the road?
- Who will open the County’s locked gates on Bayview and Main drives so you can get to safety if the roads are blocked?
- What happens if you are asleep and miss the alerts?
- How will the fire department open your driveway gate to alert you if you are asleep?
San Rafael Emergency Manager Quinn Gardner will address these questions, as well as any others you may have. There will be a short presentation about emergency alerts, Go-Bags, evacuation routes, and pet evacuation to help you prepare for our Evacuation Fire Drill scheduled for July 23rd.. Afterwards, she will answer your questions.
