Background

The project, known as The Village at Loch Lomond Marina, was approved unanimously by the San Rafael City Council at their meeting on August 6, 2007 and by BCDC at a hearing on September 20, 2007.  The project consists of 81 residential units of various sizes, a full-scale market, commercial spaces, the Marina and related businesses, a landscaped waterfront and other landscaping. This appears to be the last hurdle for the project barring some citizen action to the contrary.

The Village at Loch Lomond Marina is located on Pt. San Pedro Road and bordered by three subdivisions; San Pedro Cove, Bayside Acres and Loch Lomond.  The first two subdivisions have direct borders with this property while the Loch Lomond subdivision is separated from it by Pt. San Pedro Road.
