180 Bayview Drive - Litchfield

Status

  • November 17, 2008:  Construction is essentially complete with some minor "punch list" items still to be done. The property has been leased to CRC Health Group, the company that leases the other properties owned by Mr. Litchfield in Bayside Acres (189 and 191 Bayview Drive) and that operates the Bayside Marin drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities on those properties. It is as yet unclear to what use CRC Health Group intends to put 180 Bayview Drive.

Background

This residence is owned by Mr. Perry Litchfield. The remodeling plans call for a residence that will be just under 4,000 square feet and just under 30 feet in height. The existing structure will undergo extensive interior remodeling. The additional height is due to a new floor to be constructed on top of the existing structure. The final design calls for a residence that consists of a kitchen, dining room, living room, family room and five bedrooms each with a private bath. Existing exterior decks will be rebuilt and additional decking will be added. It also appears in the plans that some of the existing retaining walls will be rebuilt and new retaining walls added.
